How to put the children’s furniture according to Feng Shui

Safety and convenience are the two most important points when furnishing a children’s room. Besides choosing light colors that promote relaxation, while motivating creativity, Feng Shui teaches us how we should place the main furniture, bed and desk for our little rest, play and study in an ideal environment.

* The bed: Night terrors are common in children, so it is very important to place the bed so that they can not receive shadows or lights, to discontinue the rest. According to Feng Shui, the bed should not be placed facing the door, nor should we place the headboard on the wall of the door. The best practice is to place the bed perpendicular to the door, possibly in parallel with a cabinet that is leaning against the wall of the door. From this location, your child will have controlled the entrance to his bedroom, while not directly see the hallway light seeping through the bottom of the door or through some crack.
* The desk: The desk study of children must have a location that contributes to the concentration for optimal learning outcomes. Put the chair back to the door, will be devoted to the study, instead of playing, because they may be surprised at any moment. And while it is nice to have a good view, it should not be distracting, so the desk placed against a wall (in which to place shelves or tables), is most advised. A large table and a comfortable chair, both designed in the height of children, completed a comfortable study area. Remember also hang pictures and artwork made by their little hands, to motivate the creative side.
